From Hidden to Visible: Highlights from the Joseph Beuys Archive

To mark the close of International Archives Week, we warmly invite you to a special guided tour with Margherita Foresti, M.A., Head of the Joseph Beuys Archive & Library.

Take a rare behind-the-scenes look: together, we will enter the archive storage area, generally not open to visitors, and gain insight into how historical documents are preserved and protected. You will learn about the history of the archive and how archival materials are stored and maintained.

Afterward, we will present selected original items to showcase the diversity of archival holdings—from letters and files to flyers, printed materials, and other fascinating sources. Discover the treasures the archive preserves and what they reveal about the life and work of Joseph Beuys.

At the end of the tour, we invite you to join us in a toast to International Archives Week with a glass of sparkling wine.

Participation: Limited to 8 people
Price: €4 per person, reduced €3, plus park admission.

The tour will be in German. English translation can be arranged on site.
