Joseph Beuys (1921-1986) was a German performance artist, sculptor, draftsman, and professor at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. He is regarded worldwide as one of the most significant performance artists of the 20th century.
Joseph Beuys often used everyday materials for his artworks, as well as those originating from nature, humans, or animals: especially fat and felt, but also, for example, earth, wax, bones, or copper.

The intention of this box is an invitation to creatively build your own artwork in the style of Beuys! It is filled with some of his favorite materials such as wax, felt, copper wire, and more. The good news: there are no instructions – you can freely decide which materials to use for your own DIY piece and how to assemble the individual components.
Freely based on Joseph Beuys' famous quote "Everyone is an artist."
