Arts and Crafts Christmas Market in Moyland Castle Park
from December 9 to 13, 2026 (3rd Advent weekend)

For the 28th year, the municipality of Bedburg-Hau, to which Moyland Castle belongs, is organizing its special Christmas market in the park surrounding the art museum in the castle. Every year, on the extended third Advent weekend, it attracts tens of thousands of visitors from near and far.

For five days, a magical world of warm light, delicious scents, and an incomparable Christmas atmosphere emerges - a unique experience for all generations in the historic, listed park of Museum Schloss Moyland.

This traditional arts and crafts Christmas market is much more than an ordinary Advent market. Nestled in the picturesque gardens of the moated castle, artisans present their masterful creations at lovingly lit and festively decorated stalls.

In Moyland, you can experience traditions and techniques of craftsmanship - and products that clearly stand out from the ordinary due to their authenticity:
All products available at the market are handmade by the more than 100 exhibitors as unique pieces or in small series; no commercial goods are offered.

A visit to the current art exhibitions in Museum Schloss Moyland is possible for a small surcharge (museum admission on-site: €2 per person). The museum also offers free guided tours of the grounds.

Opening hours (Wed, Dec 9 to Sun, Dec 13, 2026):
Wednesday to Friday: 1 PM – 9 PM
Saturday: 11 AM – 9 PM
Sunday: 11 AM – 8 PM

The market is largely barrier-free. Dogs can be brought onto the outdoor grounds on a short leash. However, due to the large number of visitors and for the well-being of the animals, bringing them is not recommended.
